FAQ

The fee for GMAT in India is approximately Rs 17,300 ($250 USD).

The GMAT score remains valid for 5 years.

A good score on the GMAT is whatever meets the requirement of your chosen country and University.

The GMAT is scored from 200 to 800. A score of 500 puts you in the 27th percentile while a score of 600 puts you in the 56th percentile. If you score 650 on GMAT, you jump up to the 73rd percentile while a score of 700 will place you in the 88th percentile.

Most of the top ranking Universities in the USA require you to score 650 or above. The top ranking Universities have an even higher requirement. For example, Stanford University requires you to have an average GMAT score of 733 while Harvard University requires you to score 725 or above.

You can take the GMAT a maximum of 5 times in a year. There should be a difference of 16 calendar days between any two GMATs.

Effective from 17th December 2016, you may not take the GMAT for more than 8 times which is the lifetime limit.

There is no such minimum GMAT score. The GMAT score that you require totally depends on the University that you are applying to.

Apart from the GMAT score, the admission council looks at other criteria as well. However, a good score in the GMAT exam will improve your chances of admission.

Apart from the Analytical writing (AWA) section you will get the score for all other parts of the test as soon as you finish writing the test. The AWA score will take 20 days.

Most universities will only consider your best score. If you have taken the test for multiple times, you can choose to include your best score in your university applications. However, it is better to confirm with the university you are applying to before submitting your scores. Our coaching centers in Delhi and Mumbai will provide the required support to achieve your target score and submit it to universities.

Since the GMAT scores are valid for five years from the date of taking the test, our advice would be to take the test before you decide on the business schools you would like to apply for.  However, if you have not planned it this way, take the test at least 15 days before the deadline, so that you have your score at the time of application. Contact our coaching centers located across India including Coimbatore for more details.

The business schools will accept your scores that are sent directly by the GMAC, which is the official source. The scores will be sent to five colleges free of cost, you will have to pay an extra amount if you want to send your score to more colleges.
