The visa application process can take around 15 business days. Do keep in mind that no enquiries into the visa application status will be entertained before 15 days have passed.
In certain cases, this period can be extended to 30 because of the number of applications received by the Austrian embassy/consulate or the uniqueness of your situation.
Sometimes it can take up to 60 days for exceptional applications to be processed by the Austrian embassy/consulate.
